The FL5's electronically controlled suspension is a genuine strength of the car, but its factory ride height has been a common complaint — and most lowering options mean giving that adaptive system up entirely. HIPERMAX Touring is built specifically to avoid that tradeoff: it's designed to work with the factory dampers rather than replace them, so the electronic mode-switching function stays fully functional while you get a moderately lowered, more purposeful stance.
HKS kept spring rates close to factory spec and intentionally lets the stock bump stops do their job, which is what keeps ride comfort intact instead of turning the car harsh over a stiffer spring alone. Up front, pillow ball upper mounts sharpen steering response and add adjustable camber for more flexibility in wheel and tire choices. Ride height is tunable at both ends — three settings up front using the included spacer combinations, and threaded adjustment out back — so you can dial in the exact stance and feel you're after.
