The M Performance mirror caps are one of BMW's best factory accessories. AutoTecknic's Version II M-Inspired Dry Carbon Mirror Covers take that profile and build it from the material it deserves: genuine pre-preg autoclave carbon fiber. Not a vinyl wrap. Not a CF-look plastic piece. Real carbon, on a housing that already looks right on the F87 M2, F22, F30, and F32/F36 platforms.
Pre-preg carbon means the resin is impregnated into the fiber before the mold closes. The autoclave applies uniform heat and pressure throughout the cure, eliminating the air pockets and resin voids that weaken wet carbon layups. The result is a part with a tighter weave, lighter weight, and better structural integrity than anything made with a brush and a bucket.
