BMW built the F80 M3 and F82 M4 with front aero splitters from the factory on certain configurations, which tells you something about where this car belongs. AutoTecknic's Dry Carbon Performante Aero Splitters extend that factory intent in the material that deserves to be there: genuine pre-preg autoclave carbon fiber, built to the same standard as the dry carbon components BMW M itself uses on competition variants.
Pre-preg carbon means the resin is saturated into the fiber before the mold closes. The autoclave applies uniform heat and pressure throughout the cure, eliminating the voids and inconsistencies that undermine wet carbon layups. The result is a stiffer, lighter part with a consistent weave from edge to edge.
